Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) - Emerging Markets

Your tasks

Portfolio management

  • In cooperation with the team, you will manage emerging markets credit portfolios. This includes investment grade, blend or high-yield portfolios in public or special funds.
  • You are a member of the investment team and proactively contribute your investment ideas (top-down and bottom-up).
  • You identify strategic and tactical investment alternatives to the respective portfolios.
  • In addition, you are involved in implementing decisions and selecting hedging instruments.
  • You will observe and evaluate both the performance and the risks of the portfolios.

 

Credit Research

  • You independently examine macroeconomics and analyze companies, financial instruments, interest rate markets, currencies, commodities and sustainability aspects in order to draw conclusions for implementation in the portfolios.
  • The fundamental analysis of hard currency emerging markets issuers covers the entire investment universe - from corporates to quasi-sovereigns and sovereigns.

 

Business development

  • You will accompany road shows and other marketing activities, e.g. investor meetings, investment committee meetings or conferences, right from the start.
  • You will provide the technical input for the internally and externally used documents such as presentations, graphics or articles and help ensure that our marketing materials reflect the existing know-how and expertise of the investment team.


Your profile

  • Completion of a master’s degree in economics, mathematics or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in emerging and frontier markets credit analysis and portfolio management
  • Ability to implement ESG aspects
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Bloomberg
  • CFA certification is an advantage
  • English business fluent, spoken and written, is required, German preferably as well and other languages are a plus
