Digital Marketing Coordinator

Overview

This position is responsible for the coordination between travel suppliers and the Digital Marketing department for advertising initiatives. You will liaise with travel suppliers to gather content for specific advertising initiatives and help develop, design and place these initiatives. You will also aid the team in developing new and creative marketing tactics, and improve/maintain existing marketing tactics/programs.

Preferred Location: Lower Mainland, British Columbia


Responsibilities

  • Aid in gathering appropriate content and materials on a monthly basis from suppliers
  • Alter supplier content to fit tactical applications (E-mails, landing pages, banner ads, etc.)
  • Manage supplier advertising schedule and specification sheets for advertising initiatives
  • Create and manage CPC campaigns
  • Engage in social media management
  • Basic website content management on Wordpress websites
  • Aid in Google Analytics recording and management
  • Communicate updates to members and record/consolidate feedback
  • Manage company e-newsletter development, distribution and content collection


Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of related professional experience in a coordinator/specialist capacity
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Basic experience with Photoshop or comparable design tool
  • Understanding of social media best practices
  • Basic website content management on Wordpress websites
  • Experience with Adwords/Facebook advertising
  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
