Reports to:                Director, Digital Advertising

Job Description:


The Digital Content Coordinator is responsible for two main areas of content management: Managing the supplier advertising schedule and ad network content collection, plus the content management and creation of company e-newsletters. This role will work closely with the Director, Digital Advertising and a digital production ad agency in supporting the North American market.


This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:


●      Coordinate and maintain operational deadlines for the digital marketing schedule

●      Collaborate with suppliers/vendors to collect advertising content for strict deadlines

●      Proof/edit supplier content submissions

●      Collect all content for the creation and distribution of e-newsletters

●      Manage content entry for marketing websites

●      Aid Brand Marketing and Communications Specialist in managing 3rd party writers for the E-zine

●      Manage editorial including proofing, editing and setting themes

●      Create data dashboards of insight for understanding digital marketing tactics

●      Review analytics data in Google Analytics to understand deeper insights into mediums and tactics to find areas of improvement for pieces

Requirements and Qualifications:

●      Adept at coordinating and planning

●      Proficient in curating high-quality content

●      Knowledge of best practices for writing web copy

Travel:

Minimal travel is expected for this position.


Preferred Experience:

●      Agency or freelance experience

●      Experience in the Travel Industry

●      Experience collaborating with 3rd party writers

●      2 - 4 years of hands-on content development

●      Photoshop or similar experience

Supervisory responsibility:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities


Position Type & Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 5 P.M. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position is non-exempt.

Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of digital marketing experience
  • 2 - 4 years of coordination experience (preferably in the Travel Industry)
  • 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in external-facing roles (i.e., vendors/clients)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Intermediate experience in: Editing Skills, HTML and CSS, Web analytic tools (i.e., Google Analytics), and managing / developing editorial calendars
