Position Title:           Reporting Analyst

Reports to:                Director of Information Services & IT

Location:                   NJ / PA (Remote)


The Reporting Analyst is responsible for performing ongoing data analysis using various CRM systems and supplier sales and booking reports. This position will provide reporting analytics with robust metrics and overall business intelligence to our internal and external customers.

This role is also responsible for maintenance of SQL database reporting and BI reports based on multiple related databases. Responsibilities also include, gathering and analyzing new business reporting requirements, and creating new reports and dashboards for business consumption.

This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:

  •  Manage standardized Reporting Tool Process by working with internal stakeholders to determine ongoing business intelligence needed in order to design, develop, and produce ongoing reports and dashboards to support the business
  • Participate in all Software Development Life Cycle, starting from requirements, design, maintenance, enhancement, coding, and administration of SQL server
  • Develop stored procedures, complex SQL queries, and scripts to support reporting requirements
  • Create complex graphs & charts in ZOHO Reporting Tool with drill down functionality accessing SQL databases
  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in reporting systems across the organization
  • Conduct data integration and data migration activities
  • Assist in identifying process improvements for database performance, reliability and stability

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented & organized

Required Education and Experience:

  1. 5 years of experience writing reports against Microsoft SQL Server databases
  2. 5 years of experience working with data in a travel/hospitality related field
  3. MySQL or comparable certification
  4. Strong SQL skills
  5. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  6. Intermediate knowledge and experience in interpreting statistical data

Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. Experience with automated BI Tools
  2. Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, WinCruise and /or ClientBase

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities

Position type & expected hours of work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position is exempt from Overtime.
